His latest special, Untitled, was released independently on YouTube and still landed on Vulture’s Top 10 Comedy Specials of 2025 it’s the only special on the list not backed by a streamer. It's also named one of the LA Times’ best specials of the year. His first special, IanTalk: Ideas Not Worth Spreading, debuted on Comedy Central, presented by Bill Burr. Ian is a co-executive producer on Netflix/A24’s Survival of the Thickest, a multiple-time guest and judge on Kill Tony, and a frequent guest on The Joe Rogan Experience. He’s appeared on Conan, @Midnight, and Lights Out, and has written and produced for Crashing, The Last O.G., Black-ish, The Carmichael Show, and Friends From College where he also appeared on screen.
