Doors 8pm, Show 8:30pm $20 adv / $25 dos Lesser Known Women is a Brooklyn-based band bringing queer stories to life through a unique blend of country, folk, and Americana sounds. They write and perform original songs as well as covering (and uncovering) songs by women and queer musicians of the past. @lesserknownwomen Niva is a Brooklyn-based, all-women ensemble dedicated to performing and preserving traditional Macedonian roots music. The group specializes in an authentic presentation of North Macedonian folk repertoire, featuring rich vocal harmonies and the signature sounds of local instruments. Their instrumentation foregrounds the kaval (shepherd’s flute), tambura (long-necked lute), tapan (bass drum), and powerful group singing. @niva.nyc
