And your chance to see the next big name in comedy before everyone else does.The Boston Comedy Festival Comedy Competition brings 96 comedians from across the country (sometimes Canada) to Boston forone of New England's biggest stand-up competitions. Over eight preliminary rounds, 12 comedians take the stage at each show, all hoping to impress the judges and earn one of just 32 spots in the semifinals. Hosted by Chris Zito: Chris has appeared on Comedy Central, USA Network, A&E and NESN, and had a role alongside Larry David in the HBO film Clear History. Special Guest Kathe Farris: Kathe is a Dry Bar Comedy performer and Boston Comedy Festival finalist. The Bar Our Bar opens 1 hour before early shows and 20 minutes before late shows. So come early and grab a drink with us! The Bar also stays open until 1 AM, so stop by after our last show of the evening! **No outside food or beverages allowed**
