And your chance to see the next big name in comedy before everyone else does.The Boston Comedy Festival Comedy Competition brings 96 comedians from across the country (sometimes Canada) to Boston forone of New England's biggest stand-up competitions. Over eight preliminary rounds, 12 comedians take the stage at each show, all hoping to impress the judges and earn one of just 32 spots in the semifinals. Hosted by Rob Crean, with special guest Alex Giampapa: Alex Giampapa has performed with Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, Ilana Glaser, Sarah Cooper, Gary Gulman, and Adam Devine, among others. He has been featured on Comedy Central Asia and Funny or Die, and has performed at comedy festivals across the country. The Bar Our Bar opens 1 hour before early shows and 20 minutes before late shows. So come early and grab a drink with us! The Bar also stays open until 1 AM, so stop by after our last show of the evening! **No outside food or beverages allowed**
